Set in Zayed’s military city in Abu Dhabi, this city houses a world-class hospital, Yaghmour Architects were commissioned to design the supporting surrounding facilities. The main concept is based on weaving the functional and structural grids of the project, surrounding a green court, this creates a vibrant sustainable heart for the project’s main building. This extends and outlines the master plan configuration to create balanced masses that blend with their surroundings and that follow the basis of a functional system, a reliable modular structural system and a green sustainable core.
